Nope, the update is just a minor update and it doesnt updated any material or texture file there.

ok uhh.. im new to this so right now i just updated it to 2.0.1.1 via the guide that satannuts posted a long time ago ... where do i start in updating it to the latest version do i have to keep on downloading incrementals or is there a full update? also which version of rev emu do i download im so confused can someone help me with this please.. i just want 2 be able to play online with qtracker, and is the addon support necessary anymore? thanks

also currently im using version 2.0.1.1 and whenever i open singleplayer or multiplayer by qtracker it says that i have to start steam to run the game.. how do i bypass that or do i just have to download the latest version to fix it?

and use rev emu 2.0

Okay... something's messed up with the newest (2.0.8.1) update.
I've installed it and then reapplied the re-emu (both the "2054+" and then tried the "rev-emu 2.0 epc edition") both with no luck.
left4dead2.exe shows up in my task manager for about 10 seconds, then disappears. The game never starts.

I then reapply the last update (2.0.8.0), and it starts the game no problem.

WHAT'S UP WITH THAT???

The "sfk" version I got from the tunngle site was the issue.
It's different than the 2.0.8.1 update from here.

Installed the "L4D2_v2.0.8.0_To_v2.0.8.1_Update.exe" and have had NO PROBLEMS.

The second original L4D campaign is Crash Course. Why they skip the campaign, you may to ask Valve LOL, maybe they still not yet finish those campaign yet.....
