two suggestions,

Can you auto kick players who afk for more than 5min? apparently there is people who just "take a break" there and afk as long as hours, holding position that other players can't join.

Add kick player vote option?

Kick player option is abused in numerous ways, i think this is why it isn't on this server (thankfully satannut's realises this and doesnt include it.)

The AFKers i have rarely seen stay Idle more than 30-40 mins but yes it does happen where you have a busy period on the server and one and or "maybe" two ppl are AFK / Idle and have walked away form their PC or such and leave others wanting to join without a chance due to the slot'(s) being in use.

Alright, a little complaining about the smoker's choking smoke damage, it is annoying since the smoke can actually go through walls.

I mean, lets say a smoker dies in the first floor, and players who passes by the second floor will receive damage, it is kind of ridiculous. sometimes even though the virtual smoke is gone, when players pass by they will still receive damage.

Nothing wrong with adding the damage though, a little bit challenging.

By the way can anyone post the weapon damage for each weapon?

Oh ya two bugs popped from the top of my head

If a player dies and leaves the game, another player uses defibulator on that dead player will revive a player who uses the same character, with all his/her weapons/accessories gone

A player startling the witch sometimes will still cause another player with the same character "startling" her

added some new plugins today.
BACKPACK and Chainsaw refueling. Incap med munch and grenade transfer also. good stuff.

Also switched over to EST+VUP for server side fix.

If you receive "Steam Validation Failed" when the server isn't full,
you should switch to rev-emu for client-side fix.

I logged on tpday and i found i have an issue with the Playerlist that shows for clients ins erver, it says to press '0' to close it.

I had 0 bound to another action thus it wouldn't close, so i opened console & typed unbind 0 after trying 0 on the keypad.  I relogged and still couldn't close the playerlist, is there a way to re-bind the close option for the playerlist from console to 0 or another key or perhaps an otion to nominate the key for closing the menu?


Ok i found the way to get around it, i went to C:\Program Files\L4D II\left4dead2\cfg folder and deleted the file named "config.cfg" this resets all custom settings to default as if it is the first time loading and the configuration reverts to the file called "config_default.cfg" on loading then once in game change settings to your liking just make a backup of the file "config.cfg" incase you get it wrong or need that config for another time.

yeah man, you don''t want to unbind 0...
Its best to make sure its set to default: bind 0 slot10

to bring up the panel, I usually put the new bind in autoexec.cfg:
bind g teams

and for the backpack plugin:
bind p pack

this saves valuable seconds instead of typing in chat !teams or !pack
