sounds like the same problem L4D2 had with the 2.0.0.10 update, revemu didn't work but luckily Stryder did. |

It works here. 1) uninstall exglade's standalone patch or remove rev-emu files 2) install exglade's update 1.0.1.8 or the one provided by satannuts 3) put stryder's L4D2 loader (.exe + .dll) in your L4D root folder and rename left4dead2.exe to left4dead.exe 4) play |

yeah man... seems you got it with the l4d2 fix... seems we must apply that also to L4D1... I was bored a bit today, so I made some l4d1 fixes and updated first post. Props to KK. |

Mediafire.. fast as always  5kt/s is quite poor even with my connection  (Well usually its faster) And rapidfire says you know what after 1 dl.. EDIT: This should work? I get steam not running? |

I am also getting the "Steam not running" error.
I first tried updating my original install which had been incrementally updated & patched since 1.0.1.1 and got the error,
THEN I downloaded the full psy version which is already patched through 1.0.1.7 and tried to update with the same results.

1. New Install of 1.0.1.7 version
2. 1017 to 1018 update
3. Rev Emu Fix v1018
Still getting error.
Did I miss something?
