DA2 is the sequel to DA:UT for Unreal Tournament. Just as in Defence Alliance for UT, Defence Alliance 2 features differant classes, such as the medic, rocketeer and mechanic. The game is played with two teams, one attacking and one defending. There are differant objectives to accomplish, such as destroyables and touchables.

Players can setup their own defences, such as various turrets, like a cannon, minigun or rocket turrets. And the player can build ammoboxes, so the team can refill their ammo when they ran out.

Defence Alliance 2 can be played online or offline with the smartest bots ever seen in any modification. Bots can help the player by healing other players, building and repairing turrets. And if they run out of ammo, they will refill their ammo at an ammobox, which they might even have build themself. Bots will also use certain grenades and weapons against differant targets, such as EMP grenades and rocketlaunchers against turrets.

New in Defence Alliance 2 for Killing Floor is Co-op Specimen Survival. A small group of players are set against waves of specimens. Players can use turrets and mines in there defence. All players have a certain amount of lives at the beginning of each game. After the Patriach has been killed, dead players are granted with new lives.

To Install:
Just double click the installer, browse to your main Killing Floor folder and follow the on-screen Prompts.

To Play:
Make sure you have the latest Revloader and that you have fully updated your Killing Floor client.

Unzip to your main Killing Floor folder. Run PlayDefenceAlliance.bat to play!

EDIT: OK i have a little confuse, i have KF v1011 now then i have to get the update from here first then get the DA2 Beta 2.0 and PlayDefenceAlliance.zip on this page is that right and i actually confuse what is KF_Update_1011_to_1011+ it is

Yes... Get the 1011+ KF update first... Then the DA files that are posted here.

The 1011+ KF update doesn't change the game's version number and isn't a hotfix. That's why it's called "1011 plus"

You can launch the game with PlayDefenceAlliance.bat or da2.exe

so now that i have this installed why is it that i keep getting a steam error?
and i can no longer access my perks on killing floor?
has this not been cracked for non-steam?

Did you fully updated your game first then where is the Revolution file and the launcher located

was already at 1011.. then  i got the new 1011+ patch.. kf_revloader is in my main KF file and i put the DA2launcher in there also

Can you launch the game or perk does not work

i can launch the game but when i try to use the mutator that makes it like KF it says unknown steam error has prevented this... and then if i try to just play KF it gives me same error when trying to choose any perks.. is that normal or did i poss screw something up?

That is normal bcause i also get that issue from some server that i connect and also perk does not work on some server too. If you cant go to your Profile And Achievement just restart your game.

i have tried to restart the game and i have also restarted my computer but i still get the same error when trying to go into my profile and achievements.. and i cannot launch KF without steam started?

Did you remove any old rev-emu files from the system folder?

If not, place the attached bat file into yer root KF folder and run.

EDIT: How are you starting each game?  Killing floor and DA2?

I don't think i removed any rev-emu files.. i start killing floor using kf_revloader and the da2.exe to start defence alliance


edit: tried the attached .bat.. not sure what it did because ran too fast but i am still getting the same errors

cool... yeah I'm just noticing this also... 
started game and can access profile/achievement screen... connect to a server and then back to Profile\Achievement
and you get steam error... 

maybe the long-awaited rev-emu update is needed...

those files shouldn't be editted...  but I believe most KF's ini files will always fail...

Give a try with this revLoader [as KK mentioned I repacked with Revemu R4 files]
